- Firstly, bathe the linga with milk, butter, yoghurt and honey.
- Then decorate the Shiv Linga using ingredients of the ritual like flowers, Bel leaves and Rudraksha.

- Here the priest performs the puja by reciting the Laghunyasa using Rudraksha beads (mala).
